NEWS: I am in the process of building my WEBPAGE now, go check it out! ^_~

I'm originally from Baku, Azerbaijan (it was part of the Soviet Union, it's on the Caspian Sea, we got lots of oil... oh nevermind ~_~;;). I took my first art class when I was 6 years old and walked out of it that same day cause we were required to draw this one particular thing and I didn't feel like it... (I was never good at following directions). So I learned to draw from Disney cartoons ^_^;;. That was all well and good until I saw ANIME (oooh aaaahh)! I liiiked anime ^___^, so I *borrowed* some techniques from that. As of now, I guess my drawing style is a cross between Disney, Anime, and my own unique style that I've managed to keep regardless of all these outside influences. I never draw what I see (there are cameras for that =P), but only draw what I envision with my mind's eye in my attempts to bridge the gap between the tangible world of the ordinary with the intangible world of magic and dreams. I often draw stuff to illustrate my stories.

I don't like drawing, but I do it anyways ^_^. OK, I DO like doodling! I just don't like drawing really formal pictures, because when I actually sit down and start drawing one I try as hard as I can to make it look like it's supposed to and put a lot of energy into it and it ends up a very long, tedious, and draining process. Blah, I know it's like that for everybody, just call me lazy =P. I guess I just like thinking about/imagining things much more than the actual process of putting them down on paper (be they drawings or stories).

My favorite artist is Brian Froud and I usually draw to the music of Enya (gee wasn't that random?).

If anyone Refutes me or says your art is horrible, I will personaly wring their neck,torture them, and chop of body parts that they can live without. I will also train long enough at AEMMA to be able to fling a knife into their throat if they try again. Just kidding, I'll on ly bombard them with enough mean comments for them to apologize, I'm not that good with a sword...yet.

Firstly You are extremely talented and and your colouring technique is incredible(What kind of markers do you use, because i cant seem to find any that create that solid colour i see in all you your drawings). I would have to say my favourites would be Naurcisium,Not a Succubus, and Dragon twins. I will be checking back in to see more. Oh and again beautiful gallery.
